- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts or chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your loaf pan.
- Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth.
- Mix in the melted butter, followed by sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined.
- Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Blend the dry ingredients into the wet mixture gently until just combined.
- Fold in the optional nuts or chocolate chips if using.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
