Description
Delicious and flaky apple cinnamon turnovers made effortlessly in an air fryer.
Ingredients

- 2 large apples, peeled and diced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 package of puff pastry (2 sheets)
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, combine diced apples, lemon juice, cinnamon, and sugar.
- Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into squares.
- Place a spoonful of the apple mixture in the center of each square.
- Fold the pastry over to form a triangle and seal the edges with a fork.
- Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
- Place the turnovers in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the air fryer and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- Make sure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket.
- Feel free to add nuts or raisins to the apple filling for extra texture.
- These turnovers can be served warm or at room temperature.
