- 2 cups cooked macaroni and cheese
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Allow the macaroni and cheese to cool and firm up in the refrigerator for about 60 minutes.
- Scoop small portions and shape them into balls, about one-inch in size.
- Set up a breading station with flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and seasoned breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
- Roll each macaroni ball in the flour, then dip in the egg, and finally coat in the breadcrumbs.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Arrange the balls in a single layer in the air fryer basket and lightly spray them with cooking spray.
- Air fry for about 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
