Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked macaroni and cheese
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Allow the macaroni and cheese to cool and firm up in the refrigerator for about 60 minutes.
  2. Scoop small portions and shape them into balls, about one-inch in size.
  3. Set up a breading station with flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and seasoned breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
  4. Roll each macaroni ball in the flour, then dip in the egg, and finally coat in the breadcrumbs.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  6. Arrange the balls in a single layer in the air fryer basket and lightly spray them with cooking spray.
  7. Air fry for about 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, shaking the basket halfway through.
