Description

A delightful combination of smoky BBQ chicken and gooey melted cheese, all grilled to perfection between crispy bread.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of hearty bread (sourdough, brioche, or whole grain)
  • 1 cup cooked chicken (shredded rotisserie or grilled)
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/2 cup cheese (mild cheddar or pepper jack)
  • Butter for spreading

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken by shredding it and mixing with BBQ sauce until evenly coated.
  2. Assemble the sandwich by buttering one side of each slice of bread, then layering chicken and cheese between them.
  3. Cook the sandwich in a skillet over medium heat for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
