- 1 box of white cake mix
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup of water
- 1 cup of sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup of whipped cream
- Food coloring (various colors)
- Sprinkles (for decoration)
- 1 cup of frosting (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven according to the cake mix instructions. Grease and flour a 9×13 inch cake pan.
- Combine the white cake mix, water, and eggs in a mixing bowl and mix with an electric mixer until smooth, about 2 minutes.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and spread evenly. Bake according to package instructions or until a toothpick comes out clean, about 25-30 minutes.
- Cool the cake completely in the pan on a wire rack, then use a fork to poke holes all over the cake.
- Mix the sweetened condensed milk with food coloring until you achieve your desired colors.
- Pour the colored sweetened condensed milk mixture over the poked holes in the cake.
- Spread the whipped cream across the top of the cake.
- Decorate with sprinkles generously.
- Chill the cake in the refrigerator for a couple of hours before slicing and serving.
