Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk, until just combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden and centers are set.
- Cool cookies on a wire rack.
- In a chilled bowl, whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Fill half of the cookies with whipped cream and top with another cookie.
- Melt chocolate chips with vegetable oil in a microwave-safe bowl, then drizzle over the cookies.
- Allow chocolate to set before serving.
