  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk, until just combined.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden and centers are set.
  8. Cool cookies on a wire rack.
  9. In a chilled bowl, whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
  10. Fill half of the cookies with whipped cream and top with another cookie.
  11. Melt chocolate chips with vegetable oil in a microwave-safe bowl, then drizzle over the cookies.
  12. Allow chocolate to set before serving.
