- 1 lb Chicken thighs or breasts, sliced
- 1 cup Thai basil
- 3 tbsp Soy sauce
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 Shallots, minced
- 1 cup Bell peppers, sliced
- 1 cup Green beans, chopped
- 1 tsp Crushed red pepper flakes
- 2 tbsp Cooking oil
Instructions
- Prep the ingredients by slicing chicken into strips and chopping vegetables.
- Heat the wok or skillet on high heat until hot.
- Add the minced garlic and shallots, stirring until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Toss in the sliced chicken and cook until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes.
- Introduce bell peppers and green beans, cooking for another 2-3 minutes.
- Pour in the soy sauce and add crushed red pepper to taste.
- Toss in fresh Thai basil just before turning off the heat.
- Serve the dish alongside jasmine rice and a wedge of lime.
