Description

Delicious cheeseburger pockets filled with seasoned ground beef, onions, and gooey cheese, all wrapped in flaky crescent roll dough.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or American)
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • Sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to prepare for deliciousness.
  2. Cook the ground beef and chopped onion in a skillet over medium heat, breaking the meat apart as it cooks until browned and the onion is tender.
  3. Drain excess fat and stir in ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper. Simmer briefly, then remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  4. Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a clean surface, separating it into individual triangles.
  5. Place a spoonful of the beef mixture at the wide end of each triangle, topping with a sprinkle of cheese.
  6. Roll up each triangle tightly from the wide end to the tip.
  7. Arrange the pockets on a baking sheet. Brush the tops with egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

You can customize the filling to include peppers or other cheeses. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days.
