- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 can refrigerated pizza dough
- 1/4 cup diced onions
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Coarse sea salt (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the ground beef and onions in a skillet over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and cut into 3-4 inch squares.
- Fill each square with a tablespoon of beef mixture and sprinkle cheese on top.
- Seal the dough by pinching edges closed.
- Prepare a baking sheet, brush pretzel bombs with egg wash, and sprinkle with coarse sea salt.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For a spicier kick, add jalapeños. Can substitute ground beef with turkey or chicken.
