Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1/4 cup yellow mustard
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder

- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Coarse salt (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the beef: In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until it turns a beautiful brown color. Drain the excess fat, then stir in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Prepare the biscuit dough: Open the can of refrigerated biscuit dough and roll out each piece.
- Fill each dough piece: Place a spoonful of the cooled beef mixture and a sprinkle of cheese in the center.
- Seal the bombs: Fold the dough around the filling, pinching it tightly.
- Arrange on the baking sheet: Place these seam-side down on your lined baking sheet.
- Brush with egg wash: Generously brush the tops with the beaten egg, then sprinkle with coarse salt.
- Bake: Place in the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve: Allow to cool slightly, then serve warm with mustard and ketchup for dipping.
Notes
Make-Ahead: Assemble and store the pretzel bombs in the fridge for up to a day. Ensure to let them rest at room temperature before baking.
