Description

Ingredients

  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices of garlic bread
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it apart with your spatula. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until the onion turns translucent.
  4. Stir in the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, and pepper. Let simmer for 5-10 minutes.
  5. Arrange the garlic bread slices on a baking sheet.
  6. Spoon the Sloppy Joe mixture onto each slice of garlic bread.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese atop the filling.
  8. Bake in the oven for about 10-12 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve hot.
