- 1 loaf of bread (preferably Italian or French)
- 1 cup of pesto sauce
- 2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup of melted butter
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the loaf of bread into cubes, being careful not to cut all the way through the bottom.
- In a bowl, mix the melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
- Spread the pesto sauce between the slices of bread.
- Stuff the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese into the cuts of the bread.
- Brush the melted butter mixture over the top of the bread.
- Wrap the bread in aluminum foil and bake for 15-20 minutes.
- Unwrap the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the pesto.
- Feel free to use any cheese of your choice.
- This bread is best served fresh but can be reheated in the oven.
