- 2 Grilled Chicken Breasts
- 1 Ripe Avocado
- 4 Slices of Cheese (Cheddar or Mozzarella)
- 4 Slices of Bread (Whole Grain or Sourdough)
- Salt and Pepper to Taste
- Butter or Olive Oil for Grilling
Instructions
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Spread butter or drizzle olive oil on one side of each slice of bread.
- Place one slice of bread butter-side down in the skillet.
- Add a piece of grilled chicken, mashed avocado, and your choice of cheese.
- Top with another slice of bread, butter-side up.
- Grill until the bottom slice is golden brown, then flip and cook until the cheese melts.
- Season with salt and pepper before serving.
- Slice in half and enjoy warm.
Notes
For prep ahead, grill chicken and mash avocado in advance. Store separately until ready to assemble.
