Description

Crispy, golden chicken tenders that are juicy on the inside and packed with flavor. Perfect for any occasion!


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs fresh boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups breadcrumbs (panko preferred)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • Cooking oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) if baking, or heat oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Prepare the chicken by butterflying and cutting it into strips.
  3. Set up your dredging stations with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
  4. Dredge each chicken strip in flour, then dip in eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
  5. Cook in the oven for 20-25 minutes or fry in oil for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.

Notes

For a healthier option, use an air fryer at 375°F for 10-12 minutes. Make-ahead by freezing uncooked tenders!
