- 2 cups Cooked and Shredded Chicken
- 8 oz Cream Cheese
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- 1 tsp Dried Parsley
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 2 tbsp Melted Butter
- 1 pkg Crescent Roll Dough
- 1/2 cup Panko Breadcrumbs (optional)
- 1 large Egg (beaten)
- 4 tbsp Butter
- 1/4 cup All-purpose Flour
- 1 cup Whole Milk
- 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
- 1 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine the cooked chicken, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, salt, pepper, and melted butter in a bowl.
- Roll out the crescent dough on a floured surface and cut into 4×4 inch squares.
- Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture in the center of each square and fold corners to create a pillow shape.
- Roll in panko breadcrumbs if desired.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until puffed and golden.
- Prepare the Parmesan sauce by melting butter in a saucepan, adding flour to create a roux, then slowly whisking in milk and cream.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Serve the pillows warm with a drizzle of creamy Parmesan sauce.
Notes
Use rotisserie chicken for quicker prep. Make-ahead and refrigerate until ready to bake.
