Ingredients

  • 2 cups Cooked and Shredded Chicken
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Dried Parsley
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Melted Butter
  • 1 pkg Crescent Roll Dough
  • 1/2 cup Panko Breadcrumbs (optional)
  • 1 large Egg (beaten)
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • 1/4 cup All-purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Whole Milk
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine the cooked chicken, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, salt, pepper, and melted butter in a bowl.
  3. Roll out the crescent dough on a floured surface and cut into 4×4 inch squares.
  4. Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture in the center of each square and fold corners to create a pillow shape.
  5. Roll in panko breadcrumbs if desired.
  6. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until puffed and golden.
  8. Prepare the Parmesan sauce by melting butter in a saucepan, adding flour to create a roux, then slowly whisking in milk and cream.
  9. Stir in Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  10. Serve the pillows warm with a drizzle of creamy Parmesan sauce.

Notes

Use rotisserie chicken for quicker prep. Make-ahead and refrigerate until ready to bake.
