- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened cream cheese and butter until smooth.
- Add the sugars and mix until well combined.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips using a rubber spatula.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For a lighter version, consider substituting Greek yogurt for cream cheese. Customize by adding nuts or flaked coconut.
