Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and butter together until creamy.
- Add the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract; mix well until fluffy.
- Beat in the egg until smooth.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt; whisk together.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a lined baking sheet, leaving space between them.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
