Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. Combine the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Add the eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla to the dry mixture and mix on medium speed for about 2 minutes.
  4. Incorporate the boiling water into the batter, ensuring it’s well combined.
  5. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pans.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, checking with a toothpick for doneness.
  7. Cool the cakes in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
