- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and reserve a cup of cooking water.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Season chicken with salt and pepper, cook in the skillet for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through.
- Add heavy cream and lemon juice to the skillet, stirring gently and allowing it to thicken slightly.
- Toss the drained pasta with the sauce, adding reserved pasta water if needed for consistency.
- Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
Serve with garlic bread or a side salad for a complete meal. Customize by adding seasonal vegetables or a sprinkle of parmesan cheese.
