Instructions
- Peel and cut the potatoes into uniform chunks.
- Boil water in a large pot, add salt, and cook the potato chunks until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- Drain the potatoes and set aside to cool slightly.
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat and add minced garlic, cooking until fragrant for about 1 minute.
- Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Season sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the cooked potatoes to the garlic sauce, gently tossing until well-coated.
- Serve immediately, garnished with parsley if desired.
