Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb salmon fillets
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Oil for pan-searing
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
- 1 tbsp sriracha
- 1 tbsp lime juice
Instructions
- Preheat the pan: Heat your non-stick frying pan over medium heat, adding enough oil to coat the bottom.
- Cut the salmon: Slice the salmon fillets into bite-sized pieces, about 1-2 inches in size, to ensure quick cooking.
- Prepare your dredging station: In one bowl, combine flour, salt, and pepper. In a second bowl, whisk together the egg. In a third bowl, place your panko breadcrumbs.
- Coat the salmon: Dredge each salmon piece in the flour mixture, dip in the beaten egg, followed by a generous coating of panko breadcrumbs.
- Pan-sear the salmon bites: Place the coated salmon pieces in the hot oil and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Prepare the dipping sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and lime juice until well combined.
- Serve hot: Arrange the crispy salmon bites on a platter, paired with the creamy dipping sauce.
