Ingredients

  • 6 oz sliced cheese
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface to about 1/8-inch thickness.
  3. Cut the pastry into 3×3 inch squares.
  4. Layer ham and cheese on half of the squares.
  5. Cover with another square of pastry and seal edges with a fork.
  6. Brush with beaten egg and season with salt and pepper.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.
  8. Serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
