Description

Deliciously moist cupcakes infused with dark chocolate and fresh blackberries, topped with creamy chocolate frosting.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup dark cocoa powder
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh blackberries
  • 1 cup chocolate frosting
  • Chocolate shavings for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the cupcake pan by lining it with paper liners.
  3. Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl: dark cocoa powder, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Mix the wet ingredients in another bowl: beat eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in half of the blackberries gently.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared cupcake liners, filling each about two-thirds full.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack.
  10. Frost each cupcake with chocolate frosting.
  11. Garnish with extra blackberries or chocolate shavings if desired.

Notes

Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature for better mixing. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
