A rich and moist chocolate cake layered with luscious dark chocolate ganache, perfect for celebrations and sweet gatherings.
Ingredients

- 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 3/4 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- 1 1/2 cups Granulated Sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 cup Unsalted Butter, at room temperature
- 4 large Eggs
- 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 cup Buttermilk
- 1 cup Heavy Cream (for ganache)
- 8 oz Dark Chocolate, chopped (for ganache)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
- Mix the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a mixing bowl.
- Cream the unsalted butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Combine the dry ingredients and buttermilk alternately, starting and ending with the flour mixture.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool the cakes in their pans for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Make the ganache by heating heavy cream in a saucepan and pouring it over chopped chocolate until smooth.
- Assemble the cake with ganache in between and on top of the layers.

Use quality ingredients for better flavor. Feel free to customize with fruit layers or flavored ganache.
