- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 12 oz linguine pasta
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Make the meatballs: In a mixing bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Shape into 1-inch balls.
- Cook the meatballs: Heat 2 tbsp butter and 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs and brown for 8–10 minutes. Transfer to a plate.
- Cook the pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil, then add linguine. Cook until al dente, usually 8-10 minutes. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain.
- Make the sauce: In the same skillet, melt 2 tbsp butter and add 2 cloves minced garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds. Pour in heavy cream and simmer, stirring in Italian seasoning and Parmesan until thickened.
- Combine everything: Return meatballs to skillet and add drained linguine. Toss to coat in sauce. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Serve: Plate the creamy linguine and meatballs, garnishing with chopped parsley.
