Delightfully tender and bursting with flavor, these easy garlic butter meatballs served over creamy Parmesan linguine offer a heartwarming dining experience.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 12 oz linguine pasta
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Make the meatballs: In a mixing bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Shape into 1-inch balls.
  2. Cook the meatballs: Heat 2 tbsp butter and 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs and brown for 8–10 minutes. Transfer to a plate.
  3. Cook the pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil, then add linguine. Cook until al dente, usually 8-10 minutes. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain.
  4. Make the sauce: In the same skillet, melt 2 tbsp butter and add 2 cloves minced garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds. Pour in heavy cream and simmer, stirring in Italian seasoning and Parmesan until thickened.
  5. Combine everything: Return meatballs to skillet and add drained linguine. Toss to coat in sauce. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve: Plate the creamy linguine and meatballs, garnishing with chopped parsley.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: Prepare the meatballs a day in advance and refrigerate. Bake or air-fry for a quicker option.
