- 1 cup caramelized onions
- 1 cup shredded cheese (Swiss or Gruyere)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine the ground beef, caramelized onions, shredded cheese, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
- Mix until well combined, using a spatula to gently fold all ingredients together.
- Form the mixture into a loaf shape and place it in a greased baking dish.
- Bake for approximately 1 hour, until the meatloaf reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (70°C).
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
