Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, parsley, egg, salt, pepper, and milk in a large bowl.
  3. Mix until just combined to avoid overmixing.
  4. Shape the mixture into a loaf form and transfer it to a greased baking dish or loaf pan.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the top of the loaf.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  7. Allow to rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Notes

Make-ahead: Assemble the loaf up to a day in advance and refrigerate. Cook in an air fryer at 360°F (182°C) for a quicker option.
