- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, parsley, egg, salt, pepper, and milk in a large bowl.
- Mix until just combined to avoid overmixing.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf form and transfer it to a greased baking dish or loaf pan.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the top of the loaf.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Allow to rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Notes
Make-ahead: Assemble the loaf up to a day in advance and refrigerate. Cook in an air fryer at 360°F (182°C) for a quicker option.
