Description

Irresistibly crispy baked mozzarella sticks with a gooey, melty center, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 block mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, whisked
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare your baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  3. Cut the mozzarella cheese into even sticks, about 3 inches long.
  4. Set up your breading station with flour, whisked eggs, and a mix of breadcrumbs, Parmesan, and spices.
  5. Dip each mozzarella stick in the flour, shake off excess.
  6. Coat with egg wash, ensuring it’s well-covered.
  7. Roll in breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
  8. Place on the baking sheet with space in between each stick.
  9. Spray with cooking spray and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Serve immediately with dipping sauces.

Notes

For extra crunch, freeze the assembled sticks for 30 minutes before baking. Can be customized with different cheeses or spices.
