- 1 block mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, whisked
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare your baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
- Cut the mozzarella cheese into even sticks, about 3 inches long.
- Set up your breading station with flour, whisked eggs, and a mix of breadcrumbs, Parmesan, and spices.
- Dip each mozzarella stick in the flour, shake off excess.
- Coat with egg wash, ensuring it’s well-covered.
- Roll in breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
- Place on the baking sheet with space in between each stick.
- Spray with cooking spray and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve immediately with dipping sauces.
Notes
For extra crunch, freeze the assembled sticks for 30 minutes before baking. Can be customized with different cheeses or spices.
