Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1/4 cup raw honey
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the marinade by whisking together honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger.
  3. Marinate the salmon fillets for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Transfer the salmon to a baking dish and drizzle with remaining marinade.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes until flaky.
  6. Broil for the last couple of minutes for caramelization.
  7. Garnish with green onions and serve hot.

Notes

For deeper flavor, marinate up to an hour. Adjust cooking times for frozen salmon and use alternative sweeteners if needed.
