Description

Juicy chicken breasts coated in a sweet and tangy honey-lime glaze, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the honey, lime juice, soy sauce, minced garlic, and lime zest until smooth.
  2. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Place the seasoned chicken in a shallow dish, pouring the prepared marinade over it. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes, ideally up to overnight.
  4. Heat a pan over medium heat and add a drizzle of olive oil. Remove the chicken from the marinade and cook each side for about 6-7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, introduce the leftover marinade and bring it to a boil to thicken into a glaze.
  6. Serve the chicken drizzled with the glaze, garnished with fresh lime wedges or cilantro.

Notes

For best results, marinate the chicken overnight. You can use lemon juice instead of lime juice if needed.
