Description

A delightful fusion of savory and sweet, featuring juicy pork chops paired with a creamy Dijon sauce and crispy bacon.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 bone-in pork chops
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Marinate the pork chops by combining maple syrup, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Coat the pork chops and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 4 hours.
  2. Cook the pork chops on a grill or in a skillet until the internal temperature reaches 145°F, about 3-6 minutes per side.
  3. Prepare the Dijon cream sauce by melting butter in a saucepan, whisking in flour, then gradually adding milk and cream until thickened. Stir in Dijon mustard, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  4. Serve pork chops topped with the Dijon cream sauce and garnish with crumbled bacon.

Notes

For a make-ahead option, prepare the marinade 24 hours in advance. Any leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
