Description
Indulge in the exquisite flavors of Maple Bacon Pork Chops, perfectly seared and smothered in a creamy Dijon mustard sauce, finished with crispy bacon.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 Bone-in or Boneless Pork Chops
- 4 strips Thick-Cut Bacon
- 2 tablespoons Dijon Mustard
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 1/4 cup Maple Syrup
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
Instructions
- Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy, then remove and let drain on paper towels.
- Sear the pork chops in the same skillet with olive oil for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown; remove and let rest.
- Create the sauce by adding Dijon mustard and maple syrup to the skillet, scraping up browned bits.
- Bring in the heavy cream, whisking until combined, and simmer to thicken.
- Plate the pork chops and drizzle with the sauce, topping with crispy bacon before serving.
Notes
For lighter options, substitute turkey bacon and use coconut milk instead of heavy cream. Allow pork chops to rest before slicing for juiciness.
