- 1 lb fresh shrimp, deveined
- 9 lasagna noodles
- 15 oz ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 3 cups milk
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, diced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Pinch of nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease your baking dish lightly.
- Sauté shrimp in a skillet with olive oil, minced garlic, and salt for about 3-4 minutes until pink. Set aside.
- Make béchamel sauce: melt butter, stir in flour, whisk in milk, season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg until thickened.
- Layer the lasagna: spread marinara sauce, add noodles, ricotta, sautéed shrimp, béchamel, and sprinkle mozzarella. Repeat layers, ending with marinara and béchamel topped with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Bake covered with foil for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden.
- Rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
You can assemble the lasagna a day in advance and refrigerate. Adjust baking time as needed when baking from cold.
