Description
A comforting one-pan dish featuring silky egg noodles enveloped in a rich garlic butter sauce with tender chicken.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Begin by making sure your chicken is cut into bite-sized pieces, seasoned evenly with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet or Dutch oven, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken pieces and sauté for about 5–6 minutes until golden brown.
- Lower the heat slightly and add the minced garlic, sautéing for another 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth, bringing the mixture to a gentle boil. Add the egg noodles, cover, and simmer for 8–10 minutes until tender.
- Once the noodles have cooked, reduce the heat to low, stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan until well combined.
- Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed, then garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
