- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 400 grams cream cheese
- 500 grams fresh peaches, sliced
- 200 grams all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- Add in the eggs one by one, mixing well after each addition, followed by the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Slowly integrate into the butter-sugar mix.
- Fold in the cream cheese, keeping it light and fluffy. Then gently fold in the fresh peach slices.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula.

- Make the glaze by whisking powdered sugar, milk, and almond extract until smooth and drizzle it over the cooled bars.
Notes
These bars can be made a day in advance; they taste better as they sit in the fridge, allowing flavors to meld. Cool completely before slicing for the best presentation.
