- 4 skinless salmon fillets
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice (divided)
- 2 tablespoons dry white wine (optional)
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon cracked pepper
- ¼ cup unsalted butter
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 1–2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (divided)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and lightly grease your baking dish.
- Prepare the salmon by patting the fillets dry and combining olive oil, minced garlic, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, and white wine (or Dijon mustard) in a small bowl.
- Rub this mixture over the salmon fillets and season with salt and pepper before placing them in the baking dish.
- Bake the salmon for 10-12 minutes until it flakes easily with a fork.
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat and sauté the additional minced garlic for about 30 seconds.
- Pour in the wine (or Dijon) and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes, then stir in the heavy cream.
- Once the salmon is done, pour the creamy lemon sauce over it and add the remaining lemon juice and half of the parsley.
- Garnish with the remaining parsley and serve hot.
Notes
Feel free to customize with capers or olives for added flavor. Pair with side dishes like garlic mashed potatoes or steamed asparagus.
