Ingredients
- Breakfast sausages (fully cooked)
- Bread (soft white or whole grain, or brioche)
- Eggs
- Whole milk (or non-dairy alternative)
- Cinnamon
- Vanilla extract
- Maple syrup
- Powdered sugar
Instructions
- Cook the Breakfast Sausages until golden brown according to package instructions.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, cinnamon, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Take a slice of bread and gently flatten it using a rolling pin.
- Dip the flattened bread into the egg mixture, coating both sides thoroughly.
- Place a cooked sausage on one end of the soaked bread.
- Carefully roll the bread around the sausage and tuck it to keep it closed.
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and melt a pat of butter.
- Place the roll-ups seam-side down in the pan and fry until golden brown on all sides.
- Serve warm, drizzled with maple syrup and dusted with powdered sugar.
