Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare a 9×13 inch baking dish by greasing it generously.
- Mix the Jiffy corn muffin mix, eggs, and milk in a large bowl until smooth.
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until no longer pink; drain excess grease.
- Introduce the Manwich sauce to the beef, mixing well, and simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Layer the sloppy joe mixture evenly in the greased baking dish.
- Top the mixture with the cornbread batter, smoothing it out to cover completely.
- Bake for about 20 minutes, or until the cornbread is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
