- 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 12 ounces fettuccine pasta
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Place the chicken at the bottom of your slow cooker.
- Add the broccoli florets over the chicken.
- Make the sauce by combining heavy cream, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl, then pour it over the chicken and broccoli.
- Cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours.
- Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, about 15-20 minutes before serving.
- Shred the chicken in the slow cooker with two forks.
- Add the grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted.
- Combine the cooked fettuccine with the chicken and sauce.
- Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
For best results, use fresh ingredients and do not skip the Parmesan cheese for a rich flavor. Leftovers store well in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
