Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 large russet potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 can (15 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown the beef: In a skillet over medium heat, add ground beef until sizzles and caramelizes. Drain excess fat.
  2. Combine ingredients: Add browned beef, potatoes, peas, onion, tomatoes, soup, broth, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper to the slow cooker. Stir well.
  3. Cook it low and slow: Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours until potatoes are tender.
  4. Melt the cheese: 15 minutes before serving, sprinkle cheese on top and let it melt.
  5. Serve and enjoy: Ladle into bowls and enjoy with bread or salad.

Notes

You can prepare the vegetable and beef mixture the night before. Use alternative meats or add seasonal vegetables for customization.
