Comforting pasta shells filled with creamy ricotta and fresh spinach, topped with melty mozzarella and marinara sauce.

- 12 jumbo pasta shells
- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 egg
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente.
- In a mixing bowl, combine chopped spinach, ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until creamy.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Stuff each pasta shell with the spinach and ricotta mixture.
- Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the stuffed shells.
- Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, until the cheese is bubbling and golden.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
You can prepare the filling a day in advance. Just refrigerate and cover before baking.
