Ingredients

  • 12 large pasta shells
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup cooked seafood (shrimp, crab, or scallops)
  • 1/2 cup chopped spinach (optional)
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions, ensuring they are al dente.
  3. Drain them gently and set aside to cool slightly.
  4. Combine ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan, cooked seafood, chopped spinach (if using), garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  5. Stuff each cooked shell with the seafood mixture, packing it generously but carefully.
  6. Place the shells snugly in a baking dish.
  7. Pour marinara sauce over the stuffed shells.
  8. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
  9. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  10. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  11. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Make-ahead: Prepare the stuffed shells a day in advance and refrigerate. Bake just before serving. For a crispy finish, consider using an air fryer.
