Description

A quick and easy recipe for a delicious spinach and feta stuffed phyllo tart that can be prepared in just 10 minutes.


Ingredients

  • 1 package of phyllo dough
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the chopped spinach, feta cheese, ricotta cheese, beaten egg, salt, and pepper.
  3. Lay out a sheet of phyllo dough and brush it with olive oil. Repeat with additional sheets to create a layered base.
  4. Spoon the spinach and feta mixture onto the phyllo base.
  5. Fold the edges of the phyllo over the filling to create a tart shape.
  6. Brush the top with olive oil and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For a crispier tart, use more layers of phyllo dough.
  • Feel free to add other vegetables like mushrooms or bell peppers.
