Instructions

- In another bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and melted butter.
- Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Fold in the diced apples.
- Preheat the waffle iron and lightly grease it with cooking spray.
- Pour the batter into the waffle iron and cook until golden brown.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan for frying.
- Once the waffles are cooked, cut them into donut shapes and fry until golden.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
