Description

Baked Sesame Chicken with Roasted Green Beans is a flavorful and healthy dish that combines tender chicken coated in a savory sesame sauce with perfectly roasted green beans.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1 lb green beans, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, garlic, and ginger.
  3. Add chicken pieces to the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
  4. On a baking sheet, toss green beans with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  5. Spread the marinated chicken on another baking sheet.
  6. Place both baking sheets in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and green beans are tender.
  7. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the chicken before serving.
  8. Serve hot with the roasted green beans on the side.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the chicken overnight.
  • Feel free to add other vegetables to the roasting pan.
