Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat, then add brown sugar, vanilla extract, and rum. Stir until combined.
  3. Add sliced bananas to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until they are caramelized.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix flour, oats, granulated sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  6. Spread the banana mixture in a baking dish and top with the crumble mixture.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the topping is golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
