- 1 wheel of Brie Cheese
- 1/4 cup Fig Jam (or cranberry sauce)
- 1 Egg (for egg wash)
- Fresh Rosemary or Thyme (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C) to ensure a perfectly baked exterior.
- Prepare your baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper and set aside.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to smooth out any folds.
- Cut the pastry into a square large enough to wrap your brie entirely.
- Add a layer of fig jam in the center of the pastry and place the brie on top.
- Wrap the corners of the pastry over the brie, sealing tightly.
- Brush the pastry with egg wash for a golden finish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
- Cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
