Description

Ingredients

  • 1 wheel of Brie Cheese
  • 1/4 cup Fig Jam (or cranberry sauce)
  • 1 Egg (for egg wash)
  • Fresh Rosemary or Thyme (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C) to ensure a perfectly baked exterior.
  2. Prepare your baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper and set aside.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to smooth out any folds.
  4. Cut the pastry into a square large enough to wrap your brie entirely.
  5. Add a layer of fig jam in the center of the pastry and place the brie on top.
  6. Wrap the corners of the pastry over the brie, sealing tightly.
  7. Brush the pastry with egg wash for a golden finish.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
  9. Cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
