Description

A delicious and sweet side dish featuring roasted beets glazed with brown sugar and balsamic vinegar.


Ingredients

  • 4 medium beets, peeled and cut into wedges
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the beet wedges with olive oil, brown sugar, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the beets in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  4. Roast in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until tender and caramelized, stirring halfway through.
  5. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
