- 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 8 slices provolone cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season the sliced chicken breast with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken until browned and cooked through.
- Add the sliced bell pepper and onion to the skillet and sauté until softened.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the hoagie rolls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Divide the chicken and vegetable mixture among the rolls.
- Top each sandwich with two slices of provolone cheese.
- Bake in the oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
- Feel free to adjust the amount of Cajun seasoning to your taste.
- For a spicier kick, add sliced jalapeños.
- Can substitute chicken with shrimp or beef for variation.
