Description

A delicious twist on the classic Philly cheesesteak, featuring Cajun-spiced chicken and melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the sliced chicken breast with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken until browned and cooked through.
  3. Add the sliced bell pepper and onion to the skillet and sauté until softened.
  4. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Slice the hoagie rolls and place them on a baking sheet.
  6. Divide the chicken and vegetable mixture among the rolls.
  7. Top each sandwich with two slices of provolone cheese.
  8. Bake in the oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy!
