Cauliflower Steaks with Herbed Yogurt Sauce Delight!

Description

A delicious and healthy dish featuring thick slices of cauliflower grilled to perfection, topped with a creamy herbed yogurt sauce and garnished with vibrant pomegranate seeds.


Ingredients

  • 1 large head of cauliflower
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh mint, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Remove the leaves from the cauliflower and slice it into 1-inch thick steaks.
  3. Brush both sides of the cauliflower steaks with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Grill the cauliflower steaks for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until tender and charred.
  5. In a bowl, mix the yogurt, parsley, mint, and lemon juice to create the herbed yogurt sauce.
  6. Once the cauliflower steaks are done, remove them from the grill and place them on a serving platter.
  7. Drizzle the herbed yogurt sauce over the steaks and sprinkle with pomegranate seeds before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the yogurt sauce.
  • These steaks can also be roasted in the oven at 425°F for 25-30 minutes if a grill is not available.
  • Leftover herbed yogurt sauce can be used as a dip for vegetables or spread on sandwiches.
